The Power of Finding Your Divine Connection
Have you ever discovered something so good - so unexpectedly life‑giving - that your very first thought was, “I have to tell everyone I know about this”?
That instinct isn’t random. It’s human. And more than that - it’s divine.
We are wired to share what transforms us. Whether it’s a breakthrough business idea, a hidden travel gem, or a truth that finally brings clarity and peace, goodness naturally moves outward.
When something - or rather Someone - truly changes us, it refuses to stay contained.
Scripture captures this instinct beautifully in the story of Andrew in the Gospel of John. After spending just one day with Jesus, Andrew didn’t hesitate. He immediately went to find his brother Simon Peter and declared,
“We have found the Messiah!” (John 1:41).
Andrew didn’t have all the answers. He didn’t prepare a sermon. He simply shared what he had experienced. The goodness was too real—and too important—to keep to himself.
That is exactly what I felt the first time my friend Holly Meisner shared her vision with me.
We were talking honestly about the spiritual condition of our state - Minnesota - and how much our cities and leaders need godly support, prayer, and unity right now. What felt like a casual conversation to me was actually something the Lord had already been stirring deeply in her. I didn’t realize it at the time, but she had already begun hosting small boardroom meetings, praying and discerning what this vision could become. Our conversation became another confirmation for her - and a holy invitation for me.
When I attended one of the very first informal gatherings, something in my spirit knew immediately: this is not just another chamber, another networking group, or another business association. This was a move of God and a direct answer to prayers I had been praying for years. To take my Church involvement, my heart for the body of Christ and , the gift of faith and anointing for intercession into the marketplace.
I was all in!
I became a founding member of the Minnesota Christian Chamber of Commerce, and like Andrew, I couldn’t keep it to myself. I began telling others - not out of obligation, but out of overflow. It was simply too good not to share.
This pattern isn’t limited to Scripture - it’s woven into the way God moves through history.
That mission did not stop in biblical times. It continues through us - through our work, our leadership, and our communities today.
Purpose and Profession Were Always Meant to Meet
For many professionals, one of the deepest tensions we live with is separation.Faith stays safely tucked into Sunday mornings. Work dominates Monday through Friday. Purpose and profession exist in parallel - but rarely intersect.
But what if that divide was never God’s intention?
What if your work is one of the primary places God wants to move through you?
I found that integration through the Minnesota Christian Chamber of Commerce.
Before MNCCC, I could dream about business. I always sensed a deep calling and saw entrepreneurial strengths surface here and there, but they felt scattered. Undefined. Then something shifted. I realized that my greatest joy - my deepest strength - is prayer. Intercession is my language. Standing in the gap for others melts my heart because I see how tender God is toward His people. Over the years, I served on prayer teams, pursued mentorship, completed courses, attended schools focused on the gifts of the Spirit, and learned to discern the voice of God.
Listening on behalf of others brings me life.
So when I encountered the vision of the Chamber - gathering business leaders for the purpose of giving God glory - it felt like Sunday faith colliding with Monday‑through‑Friday life.
As I offered my gifts, anointing, and calling in partnership with others, I watched people begin to shine. They benefited. I grew. And God received the joy of watching His children work together.
MNCCC became more than a network - it became a family. Faith wasn’t just a badge or an accessory. It is the foundation or our core values. Support, prayer, growth, and professional excellence exists side by side. Seeing others thrive becomes more important than building our own platforms. And the impact was exponential.
New strengths emerged. Confidence grows & Joy is multiplied.
I discovered I had a much larger family than I ever realized. And honestly - what could be better than that?
You Are Not Alone: The Power of Multiplied Strength
Scripture says, “One can put a thousand to flight, but two can put ten thousand to flight” (Deuteronomy 32:30).
I have seen this principle come alive again and again. Just as engineering structures rely on shared support to carry weight, and businesses thrive through diverse partnerships, the Kingdom advances through unity.
A small group of aligned, faith‑driven people can accomplish far more together than any individual ever could alone.
If you’ve been praying for people who get it - people who see faith and work as inseparable - maybe, like Simon Peter, you simply need someone who’s already inside to come and get you.
Every one of us is surrounded by people quietly searching for what we’ve found - divine connection, clarity of purpose, and meaningful support. Andrew didn’t overthink it. He didn’t wait. He went and got his brother.
We are called to do the same.
Not with pressure. Not with perfection. But with authenticity. Who is your Simon Peter? Where are you carrying a thousand‑person load alone? What good news has God entrusted to you that He’s asking you to share?
Sometimes the most powerful act of faith is a simple invitation. And sometimes, that invitation carries the power to CHANGE everything.
“Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.” (Hebrews 10:24)
I believe God is intentionally moving in the marketplace right now - calling believers to carry His presence into boardrooms, offices, businesses, and decision-making spaces. Our work is not separate from our worship; it is one of the primary places where our faith is lived out. Like Andrew, we are invited to bring what we’ve encountered with Jesus into our everyday conversations, partnerships, and leadership. When we do, the marketplace becomes fertile ground - where prayer meets strategy, integrity meets influence, and ordinary obedience releases extraordinary impact.
This is how God transforms industries, cities, and generations—through people willing to say yes and share the goodness they’ve found in Him and with each other. And that’s worth sharing with others!
